2018 marks 30 uncompromising, experimental and boundary-pushing years for Italy's famous Cocoricò superclub, housed in the Northern province of Riccione. Celebrating in style from 1st June - 15th Sept, its EDM and techno family made up of pioneers like Richie Hawtin, Deadmau5, Carl Cox, Hardwell, Nina Kraviz, Armin Van Buuren and Jamie Jones have been announced to play out.
The venue, boasting a rich history of unforgettable moments and memories made by prestigious DJs from around the globe, is known for its spectacular glass and steel pyramid main room. No stranger to the Cocoricò crowds, having all made their own memories at the club is the roster of talent enlisted to bring in the big 30 topped by 2 of the most influential names in the genre; Richie Hawtin, the visionary who has shaped international club culture with almost as many years under his belt and Carl Cox, recognised worldwide as the ultimate acid house veteran, techno champion and king of Ibiza.
Ice cold stylings will be brought this Summer by the scene's golden girl, Nina Kraviz, as well as Adam Beyer who's musical legacy is felt across the board. Further heroes to grace the decks and sway the dancefloor include Germany's most prominent contemporary techno profile, Marcel Dettmann, the naturally charismatic Joseph Capriati, groundbreaking Swiss DJ and Cadenza label head Luciano, Detroit's don Carl Craig and the unrelenting Dubfire, always determined to innovate.
There's no shortage of Ibiza ambassadors with a team of innovators who are event curators in their own rights; Paradise Jamie Jones, Afterlife creator's Tale of Us and Music On head honcho Marco Carolawill be standing tall for this year's celebrations with fellow white island regulars like The Martinez Brothers and Loco Dice hot on their heels, the latter promising an epic 12 hour set.
And it's not just about the greatest techno and house names. As EDM has taken the entire dance scene by storm in the last few years, Cocoricò embarks in a partnership with renowned Rimini club,Altromondo Studios for their 'RIVIERA' project where the 2 have carefully selected some of the bravest and most inspiring knights of the genre - those who really were and still are into pushing boundaries.Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, marshmello, Armin Van Buuren, Vini Vici, Deadmau5, W & W andHardwell will be headlining the Fridays sessions, just as Afrojack, Deorro, Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Steve Aoki, Will Sparks, Timmy Trumpet and Tujamo will do.
With a full house of the finest DJ talent to make up this Summer's proceedings, there will be no 30th birthday like it proving, once again, that Cocoricò has earned its reputation as a force which has shaped and will continue to shape clubbing history.
