CoCo and the Butterfields have released their new single 'Animals', ahead of a 7-date support tour with Blue October, and a string of headline dates in October.
Blending subtle folk elements with slick pop undertones, the track is a glorious mix of energetic instrumentation, irresistible melodies and delicate harmonies that build into an impossibly infectious and passionate chorus.
The track is the first to be taken from their upcoming EP Monsters, previously released as an acoustic collection of tracks and now rerecorded as a fully orchestrated representation of the band's creative evolution since their conception six years ago.
"2019 has got off to such an amazing start! We're more eager than ever to show everyone everything that we've been working on behind the scenes," says singer Tom Twyman."We've got brand new music coming, our first ever major venue support tour and a slot at the UK Americana's with a headline tour later in the year and another release! It's looking like our most exciting year yet."
Ahead of the EP's release, the band will support Blue October on their UK headline tour, including a date at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on the 23rd February, before a slew of summer festivals and their own UK headline tour, starting in October.
The band have built a strong reputation as a formidable live act, having been a staple of the touring circuit for a number of years, with past performances including festival slots at Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight and Bestival, and support slots for the likes of Bastille, King Charles, Scouting For Girls and Wheatus.
With a solid foundation of eclectic influence, live presence and masterly songwriting, 2019 looks set to be the year that catapults the band to new heights.
