CoCo Coleman Set for ROOTS IN TIME CD Release Party and Jam Session at The Ware Center, 7/20

The Ware Center at Millersville University in downtown Lancaster, PA, continues to support local music with live performances and CD release events to show off the talent in the Lancaster area.

The Ware Center will host the release party for CoCo ("Marion") Coleman's newest upcoming CD "Roots in Time" on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 6 PM. CoCo is not only known for being a great local musician and performing along the East Coast at many music festivals but she has been heard around the world from New Orleans, Australia, to Africa.

With a diverse jazz-sound, Coco reaches many genres of music including jazz, funk, neo-soul and R&B mixed with soulful blues, spoken word, and a touch of reggae. Bennie Sims on bass, Mark Huber on the keys, and Curtis Harmon on the drums come together with Coco on stage at the Ware Center to highlight some cuts from her new CDs, along with past favorites.

The Ware Center is located at 42 North Prince Street in downtown Lancaster, PA. Discount parking vouchers are available for the Prince Street Garage at the corner of West Orange and North Prince Street and the Hager Parking Lot across the street from the Ware Center.
