Singer and actress Claudia Lee, who is best known for her recurring role on the hit Disney XD show "Zeke and Luther," has her sights set on romance, with the release of the first single and companion video from her forthcoming country music album. In "Hollywood Sunset," 15-year-old Lee croons of falling in love with a leading man, as if in an old-fashioned movie:

"Yesterday you walked by my eye line,
Stepping right into frame,
Flashing a smile, you took a bow,
And I never could catch your name."

"For me, the song really has two meanings," Lee said. "It's obviously a love story, but it also relates to my own personal experience of following my dreams and not knowing what the future holds."

"Hollywood Sunset" was produced by veteran music producer Max DiCarlo, who previously worked with Elton John, Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder and others. In 2004, he helped launch the two-time Latin GRAMMY-nominated group RBD, which sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, and 17 million digital downloads.

"When I first met Claudia Lee, I saw she was very intelligent; she did not want to be like so many other artists singing lyrics like ‘Yeah, yeah, kiss me baby,'" DiCarlo said, laughing. "'Hollywood Sunset' is easy and fun, but also very smart. It was a perfect choice for her."

"I feel very blessed to be working with Max," Lee said. "He has taken the time to work with me and create beautiful music. I am learning so much from him. He is not only my mentor, but a friend."

The video for "Hollywood Sunset" was shot at several iconic locations in Tinseltown, including the famous Hollywood sign and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It features Lee as an actress who cannot seem to get the attention of the man she loves, played by actor/singer Noah Hunt ("The Homes"), but is not about to quit trying.

"My friends call me crazy,
Say I watch too many
Love stories and fantasies,
Dreaming my life away."

"Hollywood Sunset" is Lee's second release. Her first, "It Gets Better," was inspired by the It Gets Better Program, a campaign against bullying, and has attracted national attention.

Lee moved to Los Angeles from her native Lafayette, Indiana in 2010 to pursue a career in acting and music. In season 3 of "Zeke and Luther," she played the character "Bridget," a waitress in a donut shop and the love interest of Luther (Adam Hicks). Soon, she can be seen on the new drama "Hart of Dixie" on the CW network.

Lee is represented by the Paradigm Talent Agency in Beverly Hills and Nashville, and by Beverly Strong Management and Joanne Horowitz Management.

"Hollywood Sunset" is being released to country radio stations and video outlets nationally. The song is available on iTunes, and the video can be seen on YouTube at www.youtube.com/claudialeelive.
