City Limits Music Fest, the Milwaukee area's first country music festival, announces that it has teamed up with charity organization Food for the Hungry to help fight poverty. City Limits Music Fest, a country music concert held in Cudahy, Wisconsin, will donate a dollar from every ticket purchased on Friday to Food for the Hungry. The festival, which will be held on July 15th and 16th, features country music headliners High Valley and David Allen Coe.
"We are excited to be working with Food for the Hungry to help fight poverty at our event," said City Limits Music Fest Event Organizer Alex Ahmad. "We believe that great music and a unique experience should be paired with a good cause. By partnering with Food for the Hungry, we hope to help out a great organization as they strive to achieve a goal we can all stand behind."
The partnership provides attendees with the opportunity to give back to the community by listening to the music they love. Food for the Hungry will use the proceeds to increase food supplies for families in need, provide clean water, supply medical care, and give spiritual support and education. Their ultimate goal is to help communities get out of poverty and become self-sustaining.
