Warner Brothers recording artist and MusicRow's "Song of the Year" winner, Chris Janson, performed a mini-concert yesterday at the U.S. Marine barracks in Washington, D.C., presented by Hallmark CHANNEL and hosted by National Park Service and National Park Foundation. He was joined by the U.S. Marine Band and the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters for a once in a lifetime performance, which will air on the Hallmark CHANNEL on July 4th at 8 p.m. ET.

"Words have no comparison, to the humility I felt, standing in front of a full room of Marines and Navy," said Janson. "There's no way to really prepare for that moment, until you're there. The men and women who provide us the luxury and privilege of living in freedom, every single day. An overwhelming amount of love and gratitude mutually filled the room. It will go down as one of the most impactful days of my life."

At the barracks, Janson performed "Our World," from his current album Everybody, and a brand new song entitled "Soul in Your Country," which he co-wrote just last week as a tribute to our nation's military.

Janson will celebrate Independence Day with a very special performance at 7 p.m. in downtown NASHVILLE during Let Freedom Sing! Music City's July 4th concert.

About Chris Janson:
Janson is a platinum-selling high-octane entertainer, multi-instrumentalist, award-winning singer/songwriter, and the youngest living member of the Grand Ole Opry. His sophomore album, Everybody, produced his second No. 1 hit single, "Fix A Drink," the chart-topping follow up to his No. 1 debut smash and summer anthem, "Buy Me A Boat." His current single, "Drunk Girl," continues to impact fans and radio as the song climbs the country singles, sales, and streaming charts, while being hailed by the Tennessean as "a shoo-in for Song of the Year nominations." Janson closed out the 53rd ACM Awards with what Rolling Stone called a "must-see performance," and he floored his audience at Stagecoach. Janson is currently on the "Life's Whatcha Make It Tour" with Jake Owen, as well as doing his own headlining dates, which included a sold-out show at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
