The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts' critically acclaimed Live in the Lobby music series will open Season 10 with a double album release celebration with CHRIS J. CONNOLLY AND BRYAN GALLO WITH BUTCHERS BLIND this Thursday, October 23 at 7:30 PM.
Tickets: $10 and include a beverage at the bar; available at the box office the day of the performance or call 631-207-1313 to reserve tickets. Seating is limited; doors open at 7:00 pm. Bryan Gallo is a Long Island based singer-songwriter and former front man of the band Attic Space. His songs are inspired by late nights in bars, the backseats of cars, and the pressures and consequences of living life romantically. Intrigued by both the sounds of alternative country-rock and wistful pop music he embarked on a solo career and began to pen songs that would be deeply personal but still readily accessible. Steeped in reflective heartache, the lexicon of Gallo's lyrics stands as a testament to his raw talent as a musician while weaving a flush and relatable narrative. Whether it be an intimate gig at a tavern or cafe or on a large stage setting under the lights, Bryan's words and melodies stick with audiences long after the show is over. He'll be backed by Pete Mancini, Paul Cianciaruso, Brian Reilly, and Christopher Smith who are also known as Butchers Blind, a well-established Long Island Band that recently released their second album on Paradiddle Records and are hard at work on their third.
Live in the Lobby Volume 1 CDs are available at the Patchogue Theatre and the Volume 1 and Volume 2 recordings are available for download at ParadiddleRecords.com.
