London duo Cherryade have released a remix of their debut track 'Fractured Fairytales', adding a fresh twist to it with fellow LGBTQ artist and rising grime star Karnage Kills providing guest vocals.
Both acts never shy away from being individual and champion self-confidence throughout their music and fearless personas, making this a fierce combination.
About the remix, Cherryade's lead voice Ella says, "We're really excited about this remix. 'Fractured Fairytales' is the first song we released as Cherryade and the moment I heard Karnage Kills I just knew we had to work with him on something special".
Co-writer and second part of the duo Alex continues, "He's really in his own lane and there's no one else like him. He's blending genres and is always unexpected. We love what he did on the song, and it's really important for us to work with fellow LGBTQ artists and share our platform."
The duo's debut track, 'Fractured Fairytales' premiered with Wonderland Magazine who proclaimed that Cherryade are "set for greatness". It's also the title-track of their just released debut mini album, which is a mixtape of their previous releases and the infectious new track 'Got You Good'. The track is an ode to a friend who keeps making bad decisions and a plea for them to wake up and make some changes as they deserve better.

Formed of childhood friends Ella and Alex, Cherryade have progressed a long way from their Catholic school upbringing and dodgy iPhone bedroom demos. They are now livening up formulaic pop and producing dance-floor bangers that are full of punk attitude with colourful, flirtatious and fun visuals that are filmed, directed and edited by themselves.
They are not shy to be different and their previous releases such as 'Get By', 'Houdini', 'Empress' and their controversial 'Theresa May (bullsh*t)' are outspoken and daring yet powerful, with fearlessly to-the-point and in-your-face messages, wrapped up in bittersweet, addictive sounds.
Musically, they've been influenced by the likes of L'il Kim, M.I.A and Charli XCX and have worked with producers including Dillistone (Dua Lipa, Frances), Ant Whiting (M.I.A., John Newman), Lewis Gardiner (PRIDES, KLOE) and Dimitri Tikovoi (Charli XCX, MNEK) to serve us something fresh and fierce that has been championed by the likes of The Guardian, TIME, Nylon, PopJustice, Clash, Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Spotify's New Music Friday and many more.
There's plenty of new music to come for this duo, so hold on to your seats because Cherryade are a pop explosion about to erupt.
