Chase Atlantic Releases Third EP DON'T TRY THIS Image

Chase Atlantic's much-anticipated third EP, DON'T TRY THIS, is out today. Comprised of six tracks, the record "dives into the devilish minds of the band" and underscores their eclectic sound that combines a wide variety of influences including alt-pop, rock, R&B, and hip-hop. Lead track, "What U Call That," is a dreamy, synth-laced anthem, while "You Too" spotlights the melodic side of the group, complemented by Clinton Cave's haunting saxophone solos. Their latest single, "Like A Rockstar," bring a more upbeat vibe to the EP, along with hypnotic tracks, "Devilish" and "GreenGreenGreen," that feature lush electro-beats. Closing track, "Lust," follows suit and further highlights frontman Mitchel Cave's strong, emotive vocals. The EP also serves as a prelude to the Aussie outfit's sophomore album, which is slated for release later this year. Stream and download DON'T TRY THIS HERE.

Chase Atlantic personally write and produce all of their own music, which helped the trio build a strong following in Australia during their teenage years. Their stylish, distinctive sound, along with their viral single, "Friends," captured the attention of Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden, who subsequently signed them to their esteemed music company, MDDN, in 2015. Since then, the three-piece has seen rapid success - headlining and selling out shows globally, including tours with Blackbear, Sleeping With Sirens, and Lights. Their explosive live performances have also landed slots at notable festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Firefly, Reading & Leeds, and Vans Warped Tour.

In addition, Chase Atlantic's self-titled debut album earned acclaim from media staples including Billboard, Alternative Press, and Associated Press, who praised the group's "genre-bending sounds" that "echo The Weeknd and The 1975." The band has also amassed a dedicated fanbase, resulting in nearly 150 million Spotify streams worldwide, and 25 million on Apple Music.

More details about Chase Atlantic's upcoming sophomore record and future touring plans will be revealed soon - stay tuned for more news to come!
