Undoubtedly one of music's most promising rising talents, British songstress Charlotte OC has unveiled her new single, 'Satellite'. The track is taken from her forthcoming EP, which is set to drop early in 2019 and follows the success of her debut album, 'Careless People.'
Having amassed widespread acclaim on singles such as 'Almost Mine' (8 million Spotify streams), and 'Symphony' (4 million Spotify streams), Charlotte's 2018 evolution sees the singer-songwriter move forwards a more alternative pop sound. The emotive vocal 'Satellite' showcases the Lancashire-star's dynamic range.
"I'd recently gone through a situation with this lad I'd met, he was saying one thing, but in reality his actions spoke differently," explains Charlotte, "What I thought could be something to begin with, actually turned out to be something completely different in the end. I came to the realisation that when you meet somebody it shouldn't be this complicated."
Charlotte is now taking the independent route, releasing "Satellite' via GMR and indie Neon Gold in the US. She co-wrote the track with James Yuill who also produced the record. The track follows the release of Charlotte's recent Jonas Blue collaboration 'Supernova' - which was included on the platinum-selling hit-maker's debut album 'Blue.'
'Satellite' was written following an extensive writing period in L.A, and is set for release on 30th November, solidifying her status as one of music's most dynamic acts heading into 2019 and beyond. Having recently sold out her London show in a day, we're certain her popularity it set to soar to galactic heights.
