Charli XCX and Troye Sivan Release '1999'

Heralded as one of the most exciting and forward-thinking ambassadors of pop at every turn Charli XCX marks the pop collaboration of the year with her new single "1999" alongside Troye Sivan. Charlotte Aitchison, aka Charli XCX, penned "1999" with Sivan - who is also featured on vocals - and the single's accompanying writers Noonie Bao, Brett McLaughlin, and Oscar Holter, who also produced the track. The single follows a whirlwind year for the future pop mastermind. Continuing her stint on Taylor Swift's global 'Reputation Tour' alongside Camila Cabello, the British trailblazer released a flow of music over the summer months - "5 in the Morning", "No Angel", "Focus" and "Girls Night Out" - which, alongside her electrifying, critically-acclaimed sold out mixtape shows, were hotly received by her devoted fanbase and media alike, firmly confirming her status as one of the world's most essential stars in pop's rainbow spectrum.

Charli XCX has fast become one of the hottest creators of her generation and is the award-winning talent behind the multi-platinum and global No.1's "Fancy" and "I Love It" and UK Top 10 "Boom Clap".
