Grammy Award-winner Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers and Jeff Pitchell with Texas Flood have been in the recording studio creating a new CD entitled 'Mardi Gras! A Taste of New Orleans and the Blues/Rock/Pop,' which is also the name of their new show!

Charles, a sax, flute, and vocals man with the Neville Brothers, has a Grammy Award and gold/platinum records from 6 different countries. He has appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Oprah, Saturday Night Live, Arsenio, Austin City Limits, Letterman and the Tonight Show. Charles is well-known not only for being a Grammy Award winner but for his ethereal performances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and is invited every year to perform there! Charles has always added something to the family ensemble that no one else can provide: not just his intense spiritual vibe and stunning instrumental virtuosity, but even more, a level of musical intelligence which reflects and expands a skilled player and singer in several musical idioms. Charles Neville's work is well known throughout the world, but his sparking work is a treat to hear from such an accomplished performer and improviser. Neville is a saxophone player/singer who has played in a variety of styles with some of the world's leading musicians - including Ray Charles, James Brown, Santana and The Grateful Dead - and has been front man for the Neville Brothers for more than 30 years.

Jeff is an internationally acclaimed dynamic singer, songwriter, guitarist and actor who blends Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, and Jimi Hendrix experiences with his own Jeff Pitchell sounds and songs he has written and his own soulful, superb vocals. Jeff's incredible stage presence, and innate abilities, have enabled him to win in a vote consisting of 6 states, the Best Blues Act in New England this year, along with other awards such as Best Musician/Band in Connecticut, his song "Eye for an Eye" won an International Song Writer Contest, (15,000 entrants, his Heavy Hitter CD (Pyramid/EMI) was on National Billboard Charts # 7 Top Album, and charted for 12 weeks. He was asked by James Wood, Oscar nominee, to write songs for a movie and collaborated with Jeff Silbar, who wrote, Wind Beneath my Wings....Jeff has appeared on national TV and radio performing for the World Champion Boston Red Sox, and on the Don Imus Show and was invited recently to perform at a sold out Beacon Theater in NYC to perform with the legendary Allman Brothers Band, and with Greg Allman, Warren Haynes, and Derek Trucks. Jeff has also performed with Ted Nugent, BB King, Buddy Guy, Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, J. Geils, Charles Neville, etc....Born in Hartford CT, and winner of the Best Guitarist in CT at age 15, Jeff has performed in Europe, throughout the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean , and has developed into a phenomenal guitarist/vocalist accumulating a growing legion of fans throughout the world.
