The musical influences that sound tracked Jacob Davis' upbringing in Shreveport, Louisiana are essential to the creation of his sound. With his debut single "What I Wanna Be" going to country radio this spring, the Black River Entertainment songwriter/artist is coming out with a fresh sound, and a road-tested live show having already opened for artists including Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, Sam Hunt, Billy Currington, and Kelsea Ballerini.
Even ahead of its official release to country radio, Brooke Eden's heart-bending torpedo"Act Like You Don't," immediately sparked rabid response amongst media and fans. Co-written by the RED BOW Records act, the punchy stand-out track, heralded as "powerful" by The Huffington Post, earned placement on NBC's TODAY show and has garnered over FIVE MILLION Spotify streams to date.
Born and raised in the remote community of La Crete, Alberta, High Valley, with brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel, initially garnered attention throughout Canada before bursting on to country radio with their Top 20 debut single "Make You Mine." The duo "...bring a modern pulse to a generation-bridging mix of folk, pop and country" according to Rolling Stone Country and have spread the word throughout North America with a heavy touring schedule. The pair made their national morning debut on NBC's Today in addition to holding coveted slots on "Artist to Watch" lists by Rolling Stone Country, Taste of Country, CMT, Spotify and Pandora.
For rising star Lindsay Ell, her debut album on Stoney Creek Records has been a long time coming ... but you can't rush personal discovery. Sent on a mission to unleash the vibrant, soul-bearing country artist long predicted by fans and critics alike, Ell's journey is now complete - and she calls the result simply, The Project. Comprised of 12 gripping, heart-on-her-sleeve tracks and produced by Sugarland's Kristian Bush, The Project is the musical calling card Ell's been working toward her whole life - from her childhood in Calgary, Alberta; through her time opening shows for blues legend Buddy Guy; and even with attention-grabbing country singles "Trippin' On Us" and "By the Way."
After independently releasing 7 studio albums, 1 live album and 2 EPs, Granger Smith signed his first record deal in 2015. He met some great people at Broken Bow Music Group in Nashville who sought him out, believed in his dedication and wanted to take what Smith was already doing, and magnify the message. Within only weeks of the signing, his debut single "Backroad Song" was a hit on mainstream country radio faster than anyone expected. On February 14, 2016, the single became the most played in America as it topped all the mainstream radio charts. This was a lifelong dream for Smith both as a singer and songwriter. The following month, his first national debut album, "Remington" hit stores. Granger Smith is a man on the move, and his latest is the announcement for When the Good Guys Win, out October 27th. Comprised of 14 tracks, the album includes Smith's latest single, the biographical "Happens Like That."
