Carvin Winans to Release New Album 'In The Softest Way'

Today, In the Softest Way, the debut solo album from multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist and songwriter, Carvin Winans, is available for pre-order via all major digital providers.

Scheduled for release in early 2019, In the Softest Way is an eleven-track collection that boasts a well-balanced mix of ballads and mid-tempo songs ranging from R&B to inspirational. In addition, the album features guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Kenny G,Tony Maiden, and Winans' brother, Marvin Winans.

In September, Winans released In the Softest Way's lead single, "Once in a Lifetime," which is quickly moving up the charts. Those who pre-order the album, will receive "Once In a Lifetime" and another song, "Misunderstood," instantly.

Singing since the age of four, Winans began his career with the legendary group The Winans with his brothers, Marvin, Michael, and Ronald. Over the past 30 years, Carvin released a plethora of hit, award-winning music with The Winans. Additionally, he established himself as a formidable songwriter, creating songs for other artists including Whitney Houston, Regina Belle, Peabo Bryson, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Winans Phase II. In 2013, Winans joined forces with his brothers Marvin and BeBe Winansto form a new group, 3 Winans Brothers, and they released a self-titled, NAACP Image Award-winning album.
