Today's brightest young stars and celebrity entertainers turned out for the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA), music's biggest event for families, at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, California. A special telecast of the sixth annual show, "2018 Radio Disney Music Awards," was presented on SATURDAY, JUNE 23 on Disney Channel, as well as multiple Disney-branded platforms including Radio Disney, the Radio Disney app, the DisneyNOW app and Disney.com/RDMA.

Global music icon, multiple GRAMMY® Award winner and multiplatinum-selling artist Janet Jackson received the first-ever "Impact" Award in recognition of Ms. Jackson's influence on society and the world of entertainment - particularly women - across generations of fans. The award was presented to Ms. Jackson by long-time fans Raven-Symoné ("Raven's Home") and Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei.

Carrie Underwood, a seven-time GRAMMY®Award-winning artist, was honored with the "Hero" Award in recognition of her generosity, humanitarian efforts and dedication to supporting a myriad of charities. The award was presented to her by former "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson. Underwood then took to the stage with multi-GRAMMY Award-winning recording artist and actor Ludacris to perform their hit song "The Champion," live for the first time.

GRAMMY® Award-winning global superstar Kelly Clarkson performed a medley of her hit songs and was the recipient of the RDMA "Icon" Award, which recognizes a distinguished artist whose career transcends popular culture and whose music is beloved by generations of Radio Disney fans. "American Idol" winner Maddie Poppe and "The Voice" winner Brynn Cartelli were on hand to present Clarkson with the award.

The night's other performers included GRAMMY®-winning pop superstar and twelve-time Radio Disney Music Award (RDMA) nominee Meghan Trainor, Multiple-GRAMMY® and RDMA-nominated singer Charlie Puth, and "American Idol" winner Maddie Poppe, among others.

Presenters handing out the coveted ARDY trophies at this year's show included stars of Disney Channel's hit series "Andi Mack," Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph of Freeform's "Marvel's Cloak & Dagger," Hollywood Records recording artist Sabrina Carpenter, Radio Disney's "NBT" (Next Big Thing) JAGMAC, and the winners of ABC's "Boy Band" and Hollywood Records group In Real Life.
