Cane Hill Selected As #NXTLOUD Artist For WWE'S NXT TAKEOVER: NEW ORLEANS Image

New Orleans' hard rock rising stars Cane Hill are pleased to announce their selection as #NXTLOUD artist, and that their new songs "Lord of Flies"and "It Follows" will serve as Official Theme Songs for WWE's NXT Takeover: New Orleans. WWE's Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative Paul "Triple H" Levesque confirmed the news on Wednesday via Twitter.

Both tracks appear on the band's second album, Too Far Gone, out now via Rise Records. Upon release, the album, which cultivates a sound that splits the difference between the thudding nu-metal of Korn and the squealing power grooves of Pantera, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.

WWE's NXT Takeover: New Orleans takes place Saturday, April 7 at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA, streaming live at 8ET/5PT, exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network.

"We're incredibly excited to intertwine our brand of heavy metal into the seams of NXT. Sports entertainment has always gone hand in hand with heavy music and it's a true honor to have our songs represent WWE's NXT Takeover: New Orleans," said Cane Hill.

"We are thrilled to welcome Cane Hill into the WWE Music family," Neil Lawi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, WWE Music Group. "Their unique blend of metal and hard rock fits perfectly into our #NXTLOUD music program, which continues to evolve, and is a great addition to WrestleMania Weekend in New Orleans."

The band will embark on another tour this spring, supporting Nonpoint and Butcher Babies. All Cane Hill tour dates are below.

NXT: LOUD is a music marketing program that unites NXT with the bands and artists redefining the music industry, including recent partnerships with rock, metal, and alternative hip-hop artists Code Orange, Asking Alexandria, Power Trip, NF, and others.

Press praise for Too Far Gone:

"Too Far Gone is an incredibly focused record; cuts like 'Lord of Flies,' 'Hateful' and the title-track find a cohesive (and very appealing) sonic middle-ground between Slipknot, Pantera, Korn and Alice in Chains. There isn't an ounce of musical fat anywhere on the album - it's just one ripping riff and jugular-slicing hook after another." -Revolver

"Cane Hill have truly discovered themselves as songwriters, as this is a wonderfully diverse and dynamic listen." -New Noise Magazine
