Camille Harris Announces Upcoming EP 'Where I Go'

Camille Harris announces the release of her upcoming LP Where I Go, out on July 29th on all digital platforms. Harris will be celebrating with an album release show at Littlefield on July 29th along with Jo Firestone, Dave Tedeschi, Georgia Weber, Miki Yamanaka, Corey A. Wallace, The Shirtwaist Sisters and more. The album is available now for pre-order on iTunes for $2.99, including an advance download of the track "Trying Something New". Typically a "silly jazz" singer and pianist, Camille has released two albums: Silly Jazz and Beneath the Moon. Where I Go indicates that she's moving into a more serious side of her craft, with influences that range from Esperanza Spaulding, Snarky Puppy, Gretchen Parlato and the joyful sound coming out of the NYC jazz scene right now.

Camille Harris, a stand-up comedian, musician, and writer based in Brooklyn is a regular performer at Rockwood Music Hall and a co-host of the weekly comedy show "The Weekend Drop" at the Experiment Comedy Gallery. She was featured in the DailyMotion.com showcase at SXSW 2014 and performed at CMJ 2014. Her one-woman show, Camille! Young! Silly!, has played many venues throughout the New York City area and was part of Ars Nova Theater's ANT FEST. Her song "Baby on the Subway" was part of IFC/College Humor's "Comedy Music Hall of Fame" in 2015 and she recently won audience choice at the 5th annual New York Funny Songs Festival. Camille performs regularly for the Brooklyn Public Library. Her musical, Muffin Man, ran in the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival and was selected for the FringeNYC Encore Series.Muffin Man is available for licensing by Samuel French Inc.
