The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at Joe's Bar on Weed Street in Chicago Tuesday, July 24 at 8:00 PM featuring Illinois native Brett Eldredge as well as Ross Copperman, Tom Douglas and Jordan Reynolds. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them in the raw as originally written. Tickets for the performance are on sale now at https://joesbar.com/SuSF0. General admission tickets cost $40.
During the trip, the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, will visit Chicago's Notes for Notes studio, located in the Near West Side neighborhood. In 2017, the CMA Foundation partnered with Notes for Notes to help fund studios across the country and allow the studio spaces to operate freely each year. By investing in these state-of-the-art studios, today's youth are given the opportunity to create, experience and play music in their community. As part of U.S. Bank's Community Possible giving platform and its Places to Play partnership along with the CMA Foundation, both entities will present a combined $75,000 in funding to Chicago's Notes for Notes studio during the visit, which will sustain operational costs for the remainder of 2018.
CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank hosted a performance in Cincinnati in May and will host additional performances in Los Angeles and Seattle later this year. Stay tuned to CMAworld.com for more details.

Platinum-selling singer/songwriter Brett Eldredge recently released his brand-new single "Love Someone" from his self-titled record, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and the all-genre Top Album Sales chart upon release. The album has yielded the hits "Somethin' I'm Good At" and most recently "The Long Way," which also lends its name to his critically acclaimed and first-ever sold-out headlining tour. The Paris, IL native released his Christmas album Glow in October of 2016 and earned a No. 1 song on the Holiday Music and Adult Contemporary charts with "Baby It's Cold Outside," a duet with Grammy-winner Meghan Trainor. Eldredge has seven chart-topping singles to his credit including 2014's Most Played Song of the Year on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, "Beat Of The Music."
Rising songwriter Jordan Reynolds, originally hailing from St. Louis, has quickly made a name for himself in Nashville. Reynolds' songwriting is a fusion of classic Country and soulful pop. His songs have been cut by Lauren Alaina, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Lady Antebellum, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban. Reynolds is currently enjoying success with Dan + Shay's new single "Tequila," which he co-wrote with the duo's Dan Smyers in addition to Nicolle Galyon.
