For more than a decade, the CMA Foundation has worked tirelessly to provide resources for students to have the opportunity to participate in quality music education programs. Thanks to the generosity of CMA members, its message of 'music education for all' is starting to resonate. Due in part to the CMA Foundation's ongoing commitment, music programs across the country are improving and now is the time for the foundation to amplify its message to inspire individual and community action so that every child has access to music education.
"It Starts With M.E.," the CMA Foundation's first national cause marketing campaign, raises awareness of the benefits of music education that are vital in shaping the next generation of successful leaders. The campaign officially launched last night on ABC during "CMA Fest," the three-hour national television broadcast music special that is recorded live from CMA Fest, where ticket proceeds are used to power the CMA Foundation's social impact and unique model of giving.
The foundation is teaming up with the Country Music community in the coming months as individuals share through social media childhood photos and personal stories of how music education helped mold them into who they are today.
