CHVRCHES Share Video for MIRACLE, North American Tour on Sale This Friday Image

CHVRCHES have debuted the video for new single "Miracle," the latest song to be lifted from their eagerly anticipated upcoming album, Love Is Dead, out May 25th on Glassnote Records. Directed by Warren Fu (Daft Punk, The Weeknd, The Strokes, The Killers) and shot in one take, the short is CHVRCHES' most striking video to date.

"We're all huge fans of Warren's work and were so excited when he agreed to be the creative director on this record," says Lauren Mayberry. "We met him when he directed the video for our song Clearest Blue and it's so cool to see the world you imagined come to life through his work."

"Miracle" was released earlier this month, and has been acclaimed as a "colossal" (Rolling Stone) and an epic, near-EDM rager to cherish" (Billboard). The song was produced by Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran / 'Shape Of You'). On working with the mega-producer, the band says: "Miracle is the only song from Love Is Dead that we didn't write and record in the States, instead producing it in London with Steve Mac. Steve is such an intuitive writer with such a killer ear for melody and working with him felt very easy and natural. He makes space for everyone in the room and really pushes people to try things and go outside of their comfort zone, in a good way."

The track is available to stream and download now, and - like lead single "Get Out", as well as "My Enemy" feat The National's Matt Berninger and "Never Say Die" - is available as an instant grat to those who have pre-ordered Love Is Dead.

CHVRCHES are Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty. Love Is Dead is the band's third album, following their debut The Bones of What You Believe (2013) and its critically acclaimed follow up Every Open Eye (2015). With the soaring success of their first two albums propelling CHVRCHES into new worlds of fame and acclaim, Love Is Dead is at times euphoric and others bittersweet. It is an album about growing up and"coming to terms with the fact that there are great things in the world and there are awful things in the world and that you can't get one without the other," says Mayberry.

For the first time in their career, Love Is Dead sees CHVRCHES welcome outside influences, with 2017 and 2018 GRAMMY Producer of the Year Greg Kurstin co-producing nine tracks, while BRIT Award Producer of the Year 2018 Steve Mac also produces "Miracle".
