CASSIE Releases ROCKABYEBABY Mixtape Today

Bad Boy/Interscope Records artist Cassie returns with the release of her mixtape entitled RockaByeBaby out today, April 11th available for download HERE. Today Cassie premieres the video for her new track, "Numb" featuring Rick Ross. The video, which was shot in Los Angeles, was directed by Alex Nazari, who has also lensed clips for Tyga, 2 Chainz and 50 Cent. Check it out HERE.

The thirteen tracks comprising RockaByeBaby also include the new offering "Paradise" featuring Wiz Khalifa which was penned by James Fauntleroy (Rihanna, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé ). A video for the track will be released later this month. With additional features from, Pusha T, French Montana, Ester Dean, Too Short, Meek Mill, Jeremih and Fabolous, the anxiously awaited mixtape is rounded out with production by Rob Holladay, Da Internz, Young Chop, Mike WiLL and more.

"This mixtape is about more than just music, it's about the art, the visuals and the people," said Cassie. "I wanted to release RockaByeBaby to show my appreciation to the supporters that have been there from day one and always believed in me and my art. My goal was to make a tape that you could vibe too and that people could enjoy from the beginning until the end. I want this to be what you listen to when you need to escape."

Cassie catapulted onto the scene at age 19 with her debut smash single "Me & U," which climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over one million digital downloads. She also scored with a string of hit collaborations including "Official Girl" featuring Lil' Wayne, "Must Be Love," featuring Sean "Diddy" Combs, and "Let's Get Crazy" featuring Akon. 2012 follow up tracks "King of Hearts", and "Balcony" featuring Young Jeezy, a sultry, electro- R&B jam, were released to much critical acclaim. She is also featured on Nicki Minaj's hit single "The Boys" from her re-release album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up. In 2008, Cassie made her film debut in Step Up 2: The Streets and her song "Is It You" appeared on the film's soundtrack.
