Veterans Day was just the beginning. The Movement to "Bridge the Gap" (#BridgeTheGap) between civilians and military veterans through the power of music by noted recording artist and 2016 MAC Award nominee MARCUS GOLDHABER heads into the holidays with a special CARRY YOU ON Holiday Concert, Sunday, Dec. 3 at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 2, 196 Allen St., NYC.

The CARRY YOU ON Holiday Concert follows an incredible Veterans Week Album Launch for CARRY YOU ON (Krian Music Group/Universal Records), Goldhaber's new benefit "Album for Action,' that began with a CD Release Concert Event at The Cutting Room and was capped by Goldhaber's third consecutive annual performance at the New York City Veterans Day Parade.

With notable coverage from Parade Magazine, NPR's Milwaukee Public Radio, The Joe Piscopo Morning Show (AM970 The Answer), and Innovative Health Magazine, CARRY YOU ON, a major milestone in Goldhaber's ongoing mission to deepen the civilian-veteran discussion beyond "Thank You for Your Service," is a uniquely compelling collection of story-based songs created to open new windows into the everyday lives of veterans and their - all based on stories told to Goldhaber by veterans along the way to live stages in clubs, concert halls, arenas, festivals and other East Coast veterans related events.

Half of the proceeds from physical sales of CARRY YOU ON directly support Iraq Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), a non-partisan, non-profit which similarly seeks to connect, unite and empower post-9/11 veterans, while strengthening the civilian-veteran bond. The album was entirely funded through a Kickstarter campaign that the marquee crowdfunding site declared a "Project We Love," in raising nearly $70,000.

"Everyone has a stake in this fight," says Goldhaber. "Music has staying power. Music lasts. These stories, as told through song, will stay with people as a constant reminder. You don't remember a news story the same way. You don't hum the evening news. That's my story. That's what brought me to this. That's what I'm passionate about. It's about human connection, and as an artist, that's always been my purpose."
