CADE and Desiigner Link Up On New Single HOME TO YOU

 

Tampa-born singer, songwriter and producer CADE has collaborated with Brooklyn rapper Desiigner on new single 'Home To You', which is out now via Ultra.

Underpinned by a twitchy trap beat, 'Home To You' juxtaposes CADE's emotive vocals with Desiigner'scoarse, hard-hitting rapping. The track marks CADE's first musical release of 2019, with most resent single 'Strip Club' featuring Lil Aaron going out on Ultra in December.

 

“I was in the studio writing “Home To You” with my boy Gazzo when Desiigner decided to FaceTime Gazzo. We knew we had something worth sharing, so Gazzo played the record over the phone for Desiigner. You could tell right away by his head nods and facial expressions that he was all about it. He asked for the address, and in 30 minutes he made it to the studio from Calabasas. Desiigner’s energy is infectious and undeniable. We stayed at the studio from 12pm till 4 am the next morning working on the song till it felt perfect.” CADE explains. “My favorite thing about Desiigner is how down to earth and real he is to the people around him. He treats his people like family and with respect and I love that about him. His talent and star power is undeniable. I really feel like we captured the positive energy and real emotions with this record.”

One of the most prominent artists in US music, CADE has achieved over half a billion streams on Spotify alone, with a sound that fluctuates between future R&B and dance. Garnering over 4.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, he continues to widen his fanbase by supporting artists such as Cheat Codes, Jeremih, Ke$ha and Mike Posner, while performing at festivals such as Summerfest and Lollapalooza.

Desiigner rose to prominence in 2016 after the release of his debut single 'Panda', which topped the US Billboard Hot 100.The same year, Kanye West (who sampled 'Panda' for his seventh album The Life of Pablo) announced Desiigner had signed to his GOOD Music imprint.

His first release in six months, 'Home To You' sees CADE again demonstrate why he is one of the most in-demand artists in the US.
