Built to Spill Announces Tour Dates n Support of New Album

Beloved Indie rock hero's Built to Spill have confirmed tour dates for September and October 2015. Tickets are on sale now.

Built to Spill have been touring in support of the new studio album, Untethered Moon, released this past April 21st, by Warner Bros. Records. Yet again, Doug Martsch & company have created a melodically rich song cycle that weaves memorable guitar textures with thoughtfully crafted lyrical passages open to the listener's own interpretation.

Untethered Moon is produced by Martsch and Sam Coomes (from the band Quasi) and recorded entirely with Martsch playing all guitars along with new band members, Steve Gere (drums) andJason Albertini (bass). As always BTS will continue to tour as the three-guitar army they have always been with Jim Roth and Brent Netson. Both videos were directed by Jordan Minkoff of the band Slam Dunk, who has toured with BTS in the past. Both films are thematically linked so best to view in order, back to back.
