Buffets, Inc.® and legendary music icon Charlie Daniels will be bringing holiday cheer to guests and military families alike with the launch of a new Christmas CD called Hallelujah It's Christmas Time Again starting this week for just $8.99. Available exclusively in Buffets, Inc. restaurants, the CD features a wide range of classic and original holiday music including "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Hallelujah," as well as a special bonus track reading of Daniels' "Carolina Christmas Carol." In the spirit of the holidays, profits from the CD will be donated to the Armed Services YMCA® (ASYMCA) for Operation Outdoors, a camp program that assists the children of military personnel during deployment.

"We are beyond thrilled to partner with country-bluegrass legend Charlie Daniels on a holiday CD that's only available to our guests. Mr. Daniels' musical talents are equal to his generous heart and we admire his decades-long commitment to charitable causes that benefit children and the under-privileged," said Alice Crowder, Vice President of Marketing for Buffets, which operates more than 350 restaurants primarily under the Ryan's®, Old Country Buffet® and HomeTown® Buffet brands.

Daniels echoed the importance of Christmas, family and giving back. "The Buffets, Inc. brands are providing a way to celebrate Christmas through music and help the children of our military at the same time," he said. "It's important to remember the reason for this season."
Crowder said that CD proceeds will support ASYMCA's children's initiatives designed to help children of deployed military to take a break from their everyday worries. Buffets, Inc. and its portfolio of brands pledged nationwide support of the non-profit earlier this year.
