Perhaps the oldest new country artist in the business, Bubba T, 72, has released the lead single, "Drink All Day," from his upcoming EP, BUCKET LIST as part of his mission to bring back Honky Tonk music. The comical video for the "Margaritaville" inspired track premiered on The Country Network and Country Rebel. Watch the video to "Drink All Day" here.
"To me, the single and video represent being able to take a break from the constant 24/7 demands of every day and having fun, because it's never too late to have a good time," said Bubba T.
The single is currently sitting at No. 48 on the CDX Traction Texas Chart, and the
video currently has 516,000 views and counting.
The Jimmy Buffet-esque single was written by hitmakers Brandon Kinney, Ben Daniel and Wynn Varble. Kinney joins Bubba in the this salute to
Daytona racing, hard drinking and hard-on-the-life road trips.
Bubba's alter ego businessman smarts drove him to choose this this well-written song to lead off his Honky Tonk music revival. "Why start anywhere but the top?" he asked when he began looking for songs. The songwriters' credits boast hits from an array of artists including Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Cole Swindell, Willie Nelson, Josh Turner,
Brett Eldredge and many more.
