Bruno Mars Takes ELLEN Fan To The Prom

This week on ELLEN, 2012's international top-selling songwriter Bruno Mars gave a super-fan a super-special surprise in the form of accepting her heartfelt request for the hitmaker to take her to her prom.

While not quite the traditional dinner/limo/dance, Mars joined Emily on the dancefloor and donned a makeshift tux as the disco ball descended - he also relayed, "My friends from Gucci are going to hook you up with a dress to make you look just as beautiful and amazing as you are," to which she replied, "That's so nice!" Mars also offered her tickets to a stop on his new tour that he embarks on later this year, in support of his sensational sophomore effort, UNORTHODOX JUKEBOX.

"This is about to blow your mind!" he told host Ellen Degeneres. Then, he propositioned, "Emily, since I can't come to the prom with you, we brought the prom here. And, I would love to have a dance with you - if that's OK with Ellen and everyone in the audience."

In the video, Bruno sweeps the starstruck teen off her feet as the band cues up a slowdance as the ELLEN studio audience rhapsodizes.
