Acclaimed songwriter, Brooke Moriber, is showcasing brand new music at an exclusive New York Fashion Week show. The performance takes place at the SMGlobal Catwalk at the Watson Hotel in Midtown Manhattan at 6pm. Brooke's performance will be part of a full evening's entertainment, including a red carpet, live music and a catwalk. SMGlobal Catwalk is run in support of Relief SMGlobal Foundation; a non-profit where fashion and philanthropy collide to improve the lives of women and children across the world. This event will be particularly special as stage four cancer survivors will be walking the runway.
Moriber has drawn praise for her "clarion voice" from the Associated Press and for her "major league talent" from No Depression. Her distinctive sound ranges in influences from Linda Ronstadt to Amy Lee, Sara Bareilles and beyond. Brooke's unique career started on the Broadway stage where she earned a reputation for her powerhouse vocals and received special mention by the New York Times for her acting abilities.
With a Nashville-recorded EP due out later this year, this show will be a great chance for fans to get a first listen in opulent surroundings.
