Broadway Inspirational Voices Kicks off the Holiday Season With New Single Featuring Broadway Vets

Michael McElroy and the Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) Releases holiday single as they launch their second phase of Kickstarter in preparation for their new upcoming album project Great Joy II: Around The World. The single arranged by McElroy and Joseph Joubert, features BIV long time family members and broadway vets Marva Hicks(Motown, Caroline or Change) , Shayna Steele (Hairspray) , and Bertilla Baker(Titanic). We Three Kings is known as one of the most frequently sung carols today. BIV went "old school" with their rendition. But their three kings are unconventional Magi-journeying with their unique gifts, and powerful voices to find the baby Jesus.

Great Joy II: Around The World is the choir's new album project that is planned to be available fall of 2016. McElroy has masterfully crafted arrangements of songs from around the world to create a truly inspiring holiday album. BIV has just begun phase 2 of their Kickstarter campaign to help raise money to complete their highly anticipated project.

Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) was founded by Michael McElroy in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir and in 1999 reincarnated to its current name. In 2010 BIV became a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization who's mission consists of providing HOPE to INSPIRE and TRANSFORM youth in need through music and the arts. In addition to numerous concerts, the Grammy nominated choir has performed with award winning artists Mariah Carey, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, STING, Elton John, Vanessa Williams, Heather Headley, Billy Porter and featured on The David Letterman Show, "The Rosie O'Donnell Christmas Special," multiple Tony Awards Telecast,NBC's show SMASH and America's Got Talent. The Broadway Inspirational Voices first album Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas was released on Sh-K-Boom Records and received a Grammy Award nomination. The choir is presently working on recording their second holiday Christmas CD, "Great Joy II: Around the World ".
