Breakout Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and creative Tayla Parx will release her highly anticipated project, We Need To Talk, on April 5 via Atlantic Records.
Parx's previously released songs "Slow Dancing" and "Me vs. Us," which will appear on her forthcoming project, continue to receive critical praise. FLAUNT proclaims that "she exudes dreamy innocence and tradition," while Refinery29 adds "her music is on the cutting edge of right now."
Additionally, Parx is the first female songwriter to have three simultaneous top 10 songs-Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" and "Thank U, Next" and Panic! At The Disco's "High Hopes"-in the Billboard Hot 100 since 2014. She is also credited for writing six songs on Grande's new album Thank U, Next and was a nominee at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards for her contributions on Janelle Monáe's Dirty Computer, which was up for "Album of the Year."
In conjunction with the release, Parx is on tour now with Anderson .Paak and confirms additional dates supporting Lizzo and MNEK. These run of shows include performances at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom and Terminal 5, Brooklyn's Brooklyn Steel, Philadelphia's The Fillmore, Nashville's Cannery Ballroom, Chicago's Lincoln Hall, Boston's Orpheum Theatre, DC's 9:30 Club and many more. See below for complete tour dates.
