Nashville Symphony announces two additions to its concert calendar. Tickets for both events go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, January 17, and are available at NashvilleSymphony.org, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center box office or by phone at 615.687.6400.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile returns for a special one-night-only appearance with the Nashville Symphony! She wowed audiences after her sold-out performance with the orchestra last May. Working her way up from performing at Seattle's Pikes Place Market to headlining at renowned venues such as Red Rocks and Wolf Trap, Carlile has earned her reputation as a fearless and consummate performer who is undoubtedly in a class of her own.

Experience the music of Pink Floyd as the Nashville Symphony performs your favorite songs with a full rock band. Singer Randy Jackson, conductor Brent Havens and his ensemble will capture the essence of Pink Floyd's ethereal harmonies and the iconic sounds of one of the biggest rock bands of all time. The two-hour-plus hour concert features a massive light show timed with more than 15 Pink Floyd tunes, including "Money," "Learning to Fly," "Comfortably Numb" and selections from The Wall.
