Brady Rymer, a GRAMMY-nominated family music artist known for making music with a "rock and roll heart" (New York Times), has received his second GRAMMY nomination for his 2014 album Just Say Hi! The Kickstarter-funded album has received several awards and national critical acclaim this year.

This year, four of the five nominated albums in the children's category were created by independent artists, prompting Rymer to remark, "Yahoo for the independents! I'm honored to be included in such great company. I'm looking forward to bringing my family to L.A. for the big celebration." The GRAMMY Award ceremonies will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles; a complete list of nominees is at www.grammy.com.

This fall, Just Say Hi! also won Gold Awards from Parents' Choice Foundation and the National Parenting Publications (NAPPA Awards). The songs enjoy heavy rotation on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and the Fids and Kamily critics' poll included it as one of the top 10 albums of 2014. Relix magazine calls this album "a never ending good time," and New York Times best-selling author Julie Klam recommends it as "a joyous, genius, melodic gift for anybody who has a rock and roll soul."

Just Say Hi! is Rymer's seventh album of original songs for families. Brady and his New York based Little Band That Could bring an exuberant, joyous spirit to their music, rich with vocal harmonies, accordions, mandolin, acoustic guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, and the occasional saxophone. Each unique track is brought to life by the contributions of the multi-talented band members, Odetta's musical director and players from Bruce Springsteen's Seeger Sessions rhythm section among them. The result, as About.com notes, is "a tasty musical melting pot of joyful and thoughtful songs."

Brady and The Little Band that Could will perform at a pre-GRAMMYs charity benefit concert featuring the nominated children's artists in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 7th. Details about the performance will be announced in January. For the latest Brady Rymer news and tour schedule, visit www.bradyrymer.com.
