Boy George Collaborates with Vanilla Ace on New Track 'Just Another Guy'

The latest from Ukranian label Dear Deer Records is an unforeseen and imaginative collaboration between the former Culture Club lead singer, Boy George and Vanilla Ace, 'Just Another Guy'. With help from Katerina Themis on vocals the production duo have created an infectious track set to have an impact this summer.

Having previously collaborated with Boy George on 'Retrophobia' Katerina's soft vocals float along the deep basslines and help create a soulful sound alongside the melodic piano and chord strings. By coming together Ace and George have showcased their versatility and skill in making something unlike their usual production but still set to appeal to their respective fans.

As the front man of 80's group Culture Group and through his own solo work since, Boy George is revered as a singer, producer, style icon and rebel. In the mid 90's George became an active member of the rave movement and made his transition over to DJing. Since then he has made DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ list, recorded tracks with the likes of Judge Jules and mixed compilation CDs for Ministry of Sound alongside Pete Tong.

London's Vanilla Ace exploded on to the scene with releases on Suara, OFF, Bunny Tiger & Toolroom and has since remixed for Basement Jaxx, Moon Boots, Deadmau5 and Yolanda Be Cool among others. In the last year, he has toured India, America, Australia and Brazil, playing to crowds of over 9,000 people in Green Valley, Brazil. Not to mention coming in at no. 10 on Beatport's best selling Indie Dance/Nu Disco chart of 2014.
