Bok Nero & Ricky Remedy Craft Soul-Baring Rap on PAIN (SOUL EATER)

Philadelphia rapper Bok Nero spits soul-baring raps combined with melodic sung hooks over Grammy-nominated producer Ricky Remedy's beats on their collaborative single, "Pain (Soul Eater)." The track, released on Dim Mak, arrives as both Bok Nero and Ricky Remedy join label head Steve Aoki on select dates for his Kolony US Tour.

Bok Nero is coming in hot off of major collaborations with Yellow Claw, Zomboy (Beatport chart-topper "Rotten"), and Aoki ("Kolony Anthem" feat. iLOVEMAKONNEN). After initially being discovered and developed by fellow Philly artist / producer Jahlil Beats, Bok Nero enjoyed a busy 2017 with his unique fusion of hip-hop and electronic, performing alongside Aoki at the Kolony album release party on the streets of New York City and Dim Mak's Tomorrowland stage in Belgium, as well as Ultra Japan. Fresh off the heels of releasing "Loudest MF" with Yellow Claw, Bok Nero is starting the new year off right with "Pain (Soul Eater)."

With collaborations that include Diplo, Lil Jon, Travis Scott, French Montana, Rick Ross, Tory Lanez, and Olympian Usain Bolt, Latin Grammy nominated producer and DJ Ricky Remedy has mastered crossbreeding multiple styles and genres, to create his own unique 808-fueled sound. His breakthrough career has landed Remedy's music on screen too: his songs have placed in Apple's "Shot on iPhone" commercial, cult comedy 22 Jump Street, and video games such as Need for Speed. Most recently he performed "Thank You Very Much" alongside Aoki and Sonny Digital on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Remedy is set to join Aoki once again on select dates for the Dim Mak founder's Kolony US Tour.
