New Jersey alt-punk rockers, Bobby Mahoney & the Seventh Son have announced the release of their self-titled album, due out March 23, 2018. The band released a video late last year for the album's first single "Empty Passenger Seats."
On the record, lead vocalist, Bobby Mahoney shares, "We went into the studio last summer with a handful of new songs, and some new ideas for a few older tunes, with the goal of capturing a clear example of what we do as a band. I wanted the songs to speak for themselves, and to convey our live energy, and I think we were successful. We loved writing and playing these songs, and I think you can hear that on the record." Founded in 2010 under just the name "Seventh Son," the band was originally intended for a single show, but they quickly caught on locally and began playing the New Jersey rock circuit. After the release of their first EP and undergoing some lineup changes, the band rebranded as Bobby Mahoney & the Seventh Son in 2014. Since then, the band has released three full-length studio albums, and have shared the stage with notable bands such as The Gaslight Anthem, Pity Sex and Pianos Become the Teeth.Bobby Mahoney & the Seventh Son Tracklisting:
