The group has made appearances at festivals including Farm Aid, Summerfest and ACL Festival along with TV appearances on Saturday Night Live, Letterman, Today, Imus, CNN, and ESPN. While famous for their hard rocking shows, the band has decided to perform quieter and more intimate, stripped-down versions of classical BoDeans songs at this concert.

Cathy Richardson Band with Maisie Bull

Grammy® nominee and four-time DIY Music Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer, actress and designer Cathy Richardson returns home to play City Winery Chicago. She then toured the U.S. with Big Brother and the Holding Co. (and still does when schedules align) and, in 2008, became the lead singer for psychedelic rock originators Jefferson Starship with founding members Paul Kantner, Marty Balin and David Freiberg.

At only 19-years-old, Maisie Bull carries an extraordinarily rich and soulful quality to her voice that is effectively unmatched by those her age. Bull's Celtic-inspired melodies pair with emotionally honest and universal lyrical themes to create the classic singer songwriter sound with a contemporary sparkle.

The album reveals Barnes' influences from '70s California musicians including Fleetwood Mac and Jackson Browne. Country music website Sounds Like Nashville said the album "stands as a noble tribute to a sound that defined him as an artist as opposed to trying simply to cash in on the moment." An artist loved for his approachable and often hilarious nature, Barnes is actively involved in building into the Nashville community and using his experiences to help others however he can. From spearheading a monthly gathering of artists to mentoring younger musicians, he lives by the question, "What good is what you know unless you can share it with other people?" 12 years into his career which began at age 23, he's still full of limitless energy and an unrestrained expectation about the future.
