Late last year, the Nashville-based four-piece Blank Range released their sophomore EP titled Vista Bent on Sturdy Girls Records distributed via Thirty Tigers. The band are currently in the midst of a massive tour with The Wild Reeds and have just released a new song called "No Aim" that was recorded during the sessions for their recent EP Vista Bent.

Stream No Aim via Spotify:
"'No Aim' is a pessimistic poem written in a time of fresh societal tension," said singer and guitarist Grant Gustafson. "Maybe there was an engrained suspicion that was bursting at the seams, needing to be unpacked; Maybe just a blurry, lukewarm reality finally coming into focus. It's day one of a new epoch of self-sworn, eyes open, raised awareness. No blinking. Though my eyes may dry I took an oath...to never try your love as a rich man. Recommended reading: A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn."
In the midst of their nationwide tour with The Wild Reeds, the band caught the eye of Rolling Stone at SXSW who said, "it was Blank Range, a Nashville country-rock outfit featuring amped-up guitars with occasional steel-guitar atmospherics, plus the sort of precise vocal harmonies rarely heard in guitar-rock nowadays, that demolished the stage."
Recently, American Songwriter premiered the band's first official music video for their song "Circumstances."

The Vista Bent EP was premiered in its entirety by Stereogum who said, "The four-track collection is a country-tinged drive down the highway with whiskey-soaked vocals and plenty of steel guitar. Blunted bell clangs and lively pop rock melodies of Vista Bent make for a happy compendium of '70s nostalgia, Nashville heartbreak, and subtle experimentation."
Stream the EP via Spotify and purchase on iTunes and Bandcamp.
Blank Range is comprised of Grant Gustafson (guitar & vocals), Jonathan Childers (guitar & vocals), Matt Novotny (drums & vocals) and Taylor Zachry (bass & vocals).
