The annual Billboard Live Music Awards open submissions for 2018 awards in the following categories:
Humanitarian Award - Recognizing the philanthropic efforts of music industry professionals, particularly as it relates to the live music industry. Last year's Humanitarian Award winner was Everytown for Gun Safety and their mission to push for common sense gun safety legislation.
Concert Marketing and Promotion Award - Recognizing a sponsorship or promotion that benefits the concert industry at large by stimulating attendance to live events, providing value to fans, and promoting the artist and brands involved. Last year's Concert Marketing and Promotion Award winner was the Foo Fighters' Cal Jam and North American Concrete and Gold Tour with Capital One.
Chip Hooper Award - New to this year's award program, the Chip Hooper Award will be presented to a young rising star working as an executive in artist representation, management, or concert promotion. The award honors industry pioneer Chip Hooper, who played an essential role in the touring careers of acts such as Phish and Dave Matthews Band and was instrumental in the growth strategy of Paradigm's music division.
Nominations are now open for all three of these awards and can be submitted to nominations@billboard.com
