Big Loud Records and Atlantic Records' Rising Star Mason Ramsey to Debut FAMOUS EP On July 20 Image

Big Loud Records and Atlantic Records' internet phenom MASON RAMSEY is launching his debut, FAMOUS EP, on Friday, July 20, as exclusively announced by Associated Press today (7/9).

The six-track nod to Country classics with a modern twist features his own tip-of-the-hat to his idol Hank Williams, Sr. with renditions of such hits as "Jambalaya (On The Bayou)" and "I Saw The Light," plus brand new originals like "The Way I See It" and chart-rising lead single, "Famous." Penned by Tyler Hubbard, Corey Crowder (Chris Young, A Thousand Horses), Sarah Buxton (Chris Lane, Keith Urban), and Canaan Smith (Florida Georgia Line, Love & Theft), "Famous" - dubbed "The Song Of The Summer" by Refinery29 - rocketed to #1 on the iTunes Country Songs chart immediately upon release and has since sold 300K+ US copies.

Here's a complete look at the official track list for Mason Ramsey's FAMOUS EP:

1. "FAMOUS" (Tyler Hubbard, Sarah Buxton, Corey Crowder, Canaan Smith)

2. "LOVESICK BLUES" (Cliff Friend, Irving Mills)

3. "JAMBALAYA (ON THE BAYOU)" (Hank Williams)

4. "THE WAY I SEE IT" (Rodney Clawson, Josh Kear, Corey Crowder)

5. "YO DA LADY WHO" (Anthony Olympia, Bobby Pinson, Brent Rupard)

6. "I SAW THE LIGHT" (Hank Williams)

Critics can't get enough of Ramsey's signature yodel as first heard worldwide in a viral video (53.9M views) of him performing "Lovesick Blues" (Hank Williams, Sr.) in an aisle at his local Walmart in Harrisburg, IL. Rolling Stone hailed of his recording, "He nails the tricky yodeling parts - as one would expect - but also cruises through the dramatic dives and swoops of Williams' melody with ease, never sounding like he's merely trying to copy his country hero but instead adding his own flair." Early reviews are flooding in:

"...pure confidence as if he'd been doing this all his life." - Teen Vogue

"...his voice is something to be reckoned with!" - The Bobby Bones Show

"With 'Famous,' Ramsey trades vintage country for a more modern sound (think a young Luke Bryan), offering a tender, pre-adolescent love song..." - Rolling Stone

"...Mason Ramsey has accomplished more in 2018 than most singers can years into their careers." - Taste of Country

"...keeps winning hearts everywhere he goes." - Bustle

"The yodeling kid is taking over the world!" - Perez Hilton

With high-profile festival performances [CMA Fest, iHeartCountry Festival, Stagecoach, and Coachella] and red carpet appearances [Radio Disney Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards] under his belt, Ramsey will return to Nashville's iconic Grand Ole Opry to celebrate his EP release on July 20. In addition, he's gearing up to introduce "Famous" for the first time on national television with his debut on ABC's Good Morning America on July 26.

This fall he'll perform at FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE's inaugural outdoor FGL Fest during Indianapolis Motor Speedway's 25th annual NASCAR weekend on September 8, before reuniting with the MULTI-PLATINUM global entertainers later on this year as direct support for their five-nights-only residency, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS, inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on December 1, 5, 7, 8, and 11.
