International music superstar and DREAMGIRLS headliner Beyonce Knowles has taken no time off since her spectacular showing at the 2013 Super Bowl: her new HBO documentary BEYONCE: LIFE IS BUT A DREAM premiered to superb ratings last month and she is in currently in the recording studio working on her new album, titled MRS. CARTER - clearly taking her husband, rap mogul Jay-Z's, birth moniker, Sean Carter, to heart. Judging from a new leaked image, she may have brought him into the booth, too.
A new sneak peek at a preliminary tracklist for MRS. CARTER has revealed that Beyonce looks likely to be collaborating with some major heavy hitters on the hotly anticipated new release - Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Azealia Banks and Mr. Carter among them.
Pop royalty Lady Gaga and controversial rap breakout artist Azealia are listed as featured players on the kick-off track, "Ratchet", while "Dance (It's Soon Over)" lists Rihanna as the guest star. Additionally, another member of the talented Knowles clan will appear, coutesy of little sister Solange showing up on "Better Than Ever Before" later on in the album, if the tracklist ordering is to be believed.
Production studio Stargate accidentally leaked the image last night while the star was working in the studio, though it was quickly taken down. No confirmation has been given at this time as to its accuracy.
Judging from Beyonce's past collaborations, though, this list of featured talent seems more than likely for the forthcoming MRS. CARTER.
THE MRS. CARTER WORLD TOUR kicks off later this year. More information is available here.
MRS. CARTER is set for release on April 11.
