LISTEN: BENEDICT CORK - WILDFIRE

In just a few short months, Benedict Cork has released a handful of original compositions that have been streamed the world over. Along with fulfilling his life-long goal of performing his very own headline show at London's historic St.Pancras Church this past August, Benedict continues to attract scores of fans to his unique style and songwriting ability.

Benedict's latest creation 'Wildfire' is a true testament to his ability to compose authentic music that connects with his audience on a deep, emotional level. Composed with his winning songwriting style that fans have come to know and love, 'Wildfire' is yet another stunning body of work, combining graceful vocals over intricate piano chords, all performed live at the iconic Red Gate Recorders in Los Angeles.

Speaking about the track Benedict notes "I wrote Wildfire out in LA with my buddy Josh Cumbee a few years back. I'd never been in love before, had no idea what it felt like, but felt super ready to find it. It's definitely got a sadness to it, but it feels hopeful to me in a way. My favourite lyric from the tune is 'I don't know what it feels like, when a cold heart meets a wildfire.' It feels like the perfect close to this live EP, as the song's now saying to me that after all the hard times and heartbreak of last year, I'm feeling ready to move on and share my life with someone again."

Benedict will be playing an exclusive showcase for Apple on Friday the 28 th of September at their Regent Street outlet from 6:30pm to 7pm - click here to snap up the limited available tickets to the show. The announcement of the show comes just weeks after Ben's life-long idol Elton John played Benedict's music on his Apple Beats 1 radio station 'Rocket Hour'. Elton went on to talk about Ben on air saying "This is a guy called Benedict Cork, he's in his early 20s, he plays the piano and he sings, and this is live, and it's just sensational! Benedict Cork - a name to look out for".
