New York City's Bell The Band is thrilled to announce their first ever US tour as they embark this June to support fellow NYC act MisterWives! The tour kicks off on June 14th in St. Louis, MO and has Bell The Band out supporting their self-titled debut EP which was released earlier this year. The set was recorded in 2016 at Brooklyn's Degraw Sound, who will help Bell The Band kick-off their summer touring schedule when they perform at the first annual Degraw Fest in Brooklyn on June 2nd! Tickets and lineup for the festival can be found here, and full dates supporting MisterWives can be found below!
Bell The Band is led by songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Caitlin Marie Bell and rounded out by drummer Jared Saltiel, upright bassist Gab Bowler and guitarist HarperJames. Raised in the foothills of Georgia, Bell honed her craft from a young age before heading to Oberlin to further study music. After college, she moved to Seattle, WA to apprentice a Kora master and eventually found herself living in New York City, where she and her band continue to thrive in the bustling singer-songwriter scene in Lower Manhattan.
Bell The Band EP was released on January 27th, 2017 - the five song introduction to the young band gained quick attention from a number of noteworthy outlets including
Noisey,
MAGNET,
The Wild Honey Pie, and
Paste who had the band in to perform late last year. The EP also earned early support from Spotify, making its way onto several playlists including Indie Acoustic, Fresh Folk, Women of Fresh Finds, Torch & Twang and more along with grabbing the cover slot of the New Roots playlist. On the platform, the EP has amassed over 300,000 plays and nearly 35,000 monthly listeners over the last six months.
After selling out venues across the five boroughs over the past few years, Bell is excited to play for crowds around the country for the first time. Bell will showcase her talents along the June tour with a solo electric set. Check out full dates below and for the most up-to-date information, please visit
