Yeah, Yeah, Yeah! A Beatles Concert Celebration (³Y3²) will be making its Manhattan debut at 42West, 514 West 42nd Street, tonight, November 14 and November 22, 2014 at 7:30 pm. The show is performed by the nationally touring and critically acclaimed Beatles tribute band, PreFab 4. Previously, Y3 has thrilled sold-out audiences at theatres in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Phoenix, Omaha, CO, MD, MA, IL, NJ, MS, and CT, just to name a few.

Y3 is a live concert experience featuring the songs of The Beatles staged in a theatrical setting. Performed by PreFab 4 virtuoso musician/actor/singers Y3 transports audiences to the period when the moptops were at their playful, youthful best. Not impersonators, PreFab 4 brings their own brand of musicianship and humor to the stage as they take you on a magical musical tour through the career of Liverpool¹s favorite sons. A retro scenic design and six costume changes, combined with PreFab 4¹s infectious charm and humor, return us to the sweet sound and innocent spirit of the Ed Sullivan Show appearance and A Hard Day¹s Night. Keyboards and backing vocals recreate The Beatles¹ more imaginative musical forays (including songs The Beatles never performed in concert), and lend fresh interpretations to the band¹s earlier hits. All music at each show is performed live by PreFab 4 with no additional musicians and no backing tracks. Infused by PreFab 4¹s retro-hip presentation and antics, Y3 offers theatergoers the unique chance to sing along with the songs they know by heart, as well as the thrill of discovering a new band.

Adding to the excitement of the evening, the songs played during each performance are determined by request. As a result, the audience is an integral part of every show. Before curtain and at intermission, patrons fill out a song request card stating their name, their request, and the personal importance of the song. PreFab 4 then incorporates these requests into the evening, creating an emotional connection between audience and performer that goes beyond traditional musical theater and other concert events.
