Bahamian Artist Abstrac Debuts New Mixtape 'Abstrac Thoughts'

Bahamian artist, Abstrac also known as Abstrac, The Artist makes her return to music with her debut mixtape Abstrac Thoughts. The native of Freeport, Bahamas relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2014, after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media Arts from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

A rising actress in the New Mexico Film Industry, she has appeared in ENDWI's PSA, SLANG, several local commercials, numerous indie films and has worked background on major productions. After obtaining her SAG-AFTRA eligibility, the artist took a break from acting to complete her mixtape. "This project has been nearly four years in the making," said Abstrac. "I am happy that I was able to find the time to focus on music again and I am excited to show fans a different side of my artistry."

Abstrac Thoughts is compiled of an eclectic mix of nine songs. With songs like "Love Yourself" which encourages self-love, "A.B.R" which teaches "The Secret" (Law of Attraction) and a re-release of "Hoodies Up" which was originally recorded in 2012 in the honor of Trayvon Martin, Abstrac Thoughts is a must listen! Abstrac's mission is to "enlighten, empower and entertain" and with the topics addressed in her music, she does just that.

Abstrac's creative team for the project includes Recording Engineer Levell Lee, Producers Case-g Music, M.Fasol, DJsNeverEndingStory, Head Shots Productions, Patrice Fote and Major L Beats. The mixtape's cover art was designed by Graphic Designer, Devon Allen, *late.bloomer.designs*. "I'm a perfectionist and when it came to Abstrac Thoughts it was more about quality than quantity," said Abstrac. "I really wanted to give my mixtape an album-like feel."
