Following their recent UK tour supporting King King, and their Planet Rock Roadstars UK tour with Broken Witt Rebels, Bad Touch are pleased to announce they will support the Kentucky Headhunters on their October 2017 On Safari UK Tour. This marks the second time that Bad Touch will tour the UK supporting The Headhunters (they first toured with them in the UK in July 2016). Both bands got on so well last time, they decided to do it again.
Says Richard Young, the guitarist and vocalist for the Kentucky Headhunters - "We first met
Bad Touch when they were chosen as our support act after my son John Fred's young band, Black Stone Cherry, convinced us to do our first-ever UK tour in 2016. In a mere week of touring, the Headhunter's and
Bad Touch became like a band of brothers. There is a certain charm and charisma between the two bands that transcends to the fans of both bands, on stage and off. We're proud to announce their return for this year's October UK dates. Simply put, it wouldn't be the same without them."
Grammy award-winners, the Kentucky Headhunters, according to the RIAA, have sold over 11 million albums worldwide, will perform tracks from their latest album On Safari. Rich in southern rock, the Headhunters' new album tips the hat to family and the southern way of life in the USA.
Bad Touch's album Truth Be Told, recorded at Mwnci Studios in Wales, features the single 99%, remixed for radio by the legendary Rolling Stones engineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey.
