BWW Reviews: STRAIGHT NO CHASER Under the Influence Tour Entertains Audiences

Robin Thicke, Ed Sheeran, Phillip Phillips, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars and The Temptations all have something in common. Each has a song that STRAIGHT NO CHASER performed a cappella to a cheering crowd at The Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas.

The group came to town as part of their Under the Influence Tour. The 10 man a cappella group got their start at Indiana University hoping to have fun and meet girls. It worked. As each member graduated from the university and moved on, they were replaced by equally talented singers. Today's group consists of original members mixed with replacements.

As the group came onto the stage, the audience erupted in cheers and applause. And they did not disappoint with their harmonies and use of each unique voice. Each song is presented as an individual and unique way without the use of any instruments. All of the music you hear on the stage comes from this blend of voices. STRAIGHT NO CHASER delivers an entertaining evening full of superb music and one you shouldn't miss.
