Following the release of the highly-anticipated Beetlejuice sequel last week, Spotify users have rushed to stream several songs featured in the new film, according to new information shared with BroadwayWorld.
“MacArthur Park” by has seen the biggest streaming jumps, with more than a 1000% increase.
MacArthur Park - Single Version” by is up more than 250% vs. average, with “Day-O (From Beetlejuice Beetlejuice)” by Alfie Davis and “Tragedy” by Bee Gees increasing over 530% and nearly 100%, respectively. “Cry Cry” by Mazzy Star has increased nearly 40%.
Additionally, other spooky tracks are also up, including “Goosebumps Original Theme Song” by Jack Lenz and “The Addams Family” by , which increased 360% and 320% respectively on September 8.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice sees the return of , Catherine O'Hara, and . New cast members include as Lydia's daughter Astrid, as Rory, as a dead movie star turned policeman named Wolf Jackson, and Monica Bellucci as Betelgeuses's ex-wife Delores.
