Axwell / Ingrosso have released the video for their latest single 'I Love You' featuring Kid Ink. The epic, cinematic-style video follows a thriller narrative with an unexpected plot twist involving Kid Ink and three women. Director Colin Tilley's credits include directing the video for Kendrick Lamar's 'Alright', which won him four awards including the MTV VMA for 'Best Direction'. Tilley was also awarded 'Best Hip Hop Video' for Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda'. His video for Axwell / Ingrosso's 'I Love You' is highly-stylised; featuring luxury locations, glamourous styling and even a Ferrari Dino - a very rare and revered sports car.
On collaborating with Axwell / Ingrosso for the 'I Love You' video, Tilley remarks:
"Working with Axwell / Ingrosso is the fing best. We all wanted to push this video with a more uniquely stylized short film. So we had
Kid Ink living out a fantasy in a three-way polyamorous relationship with two extremely gorgeous women. He ends up pushing his luck and biting the bullet - going from fantasy to disaster."
The track, which features platinum-selling US rap artist Kid Ink, has already amassed over ten million streams on Spotify since its release. Dancing Astronaut said that the single "may be the pair's most powerful and evocative track since their
Swedish House Mafia days."
Axwell / Ingrosso have announced they will be playing at Creamfield's Steel Yard London on 28th May, having previously sold out the ground-breaking 10,000-capacity event in
Liverpool last year. They will also bring their spectacular headline show back to the main stage at Creamfields festival this year. Over in the US they will play a second headline show at Brooklyn's
Depot 52 NYC, having sold out the first date in record time, before performing the prestigious closing set on the Main Stage at Miami Ultra Music
Festival this March.
