It's been an enthusiastic entry into the music scene for Australian solo artist Angie McMahon. Angie released her first single 'Slow Mover' at the close of 2017 to an outpouring of support from fans and industry alike, all of whom have found themselves relating to Angie's effortless way with words.
The song peaked at no.2 on Spotify's Viral Chart and received instant heavy rotation from Australia's new music championing Triple J radio where it ended up making their Hottest 100 chart of the year, no mean feat for a debut release. 'Slow Mover' has since clocked up close to 2 million streams on Spotify alone and has set the bar high for things to come from Angie. Released today, follow up single 'Missing Me' is the second taster from Angie's upcoming debut album, which she is currently co-producing with Alex O'Gorman. Angie's honest songwriting and powerful vocals cover the full dynamic spectrum, shifting between gravelly intimacy and pounding rock. Angie pours it all out on stage and record alike.
