David and Parissa say of the track, "East was the first song we wrote for the new EP, and the last one we finished. It documents the realisation of how powerful and capable people can be in their youth. We'd also had a few conversations about shaking things up both sonically and lyrically; we felt the tone and concepts of our self-titled EP had served their purpose, so 'East' was the first point of departure into a soundscape that was exciting and new for us."
'East' follows the release of their most recent track "
Fading" which has already reached over five million online streams to date. Off the back of one song alone, the pair have toured the National Falls
Festival and sold out their biggest tour dates yet across America and Australia, including four back to back shows at the
Corner Hotel in Melbourne and two shows at the Metro Theatre in Sydney.
Vallis Alps will return to the United States in May for their second headline tour for the year and their debut U.S. festival set at
Lightning In A Bottle, before heading to the UK for a headline show in London in August. Tickets on sale for all American dates on Friday, March 24, 10AM Local Time. See full dates and details below. For all other tickets, head to
